CARE GUIDE

Anjuum swimwear is crafted using premium fabrics, sculptural hardware and refined finishes. With the right care, your pieces will remain beautiful season after season.

Swimwear is naturally exposed to salt water, chlorine, sunscreen, body oils and heat. Following the care instructions below will help preserve the colour, shape, fabric and finish of your Anjuum pieces for longer.

SWIMWEAR CARE GUIDE

CARING FOR METAL HARDWARE

Our signature metal hardware is designed to add a distinctive sculptural element to your swimwear. Like all decorative metal finishes, a little extra care will help maintain its original appearance over time.

  • Rinse After Swimming: Always rinse your swimwear thoroughly with fresh cold water after swimming, paying special attention to metal hardware. Salt, chlorine, sunscreen and other residue can build up on metal surfaces and may gradually affect or discolour the finish if not removed.
  • Don't Leave Salt Water to Dry: After ocean use, rinse your swimwear with fresh water as soon as practical rather than allowing salt water to remain or repeatedly dry on the hardware. Prolonged or repeated exposure to salt residue can affect decorative metal finishes over time.
  • Wash Gently: If residue remains, gently clean the hardware with a soft cloth or sponge and mild detergent, then rinse thoroughly with fresh water. Avoid abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals or scrubbing.
  • Dry Thoroughly: Allow your swimwear and hardware to dry completely in the shade before storing. Avoid leaving wet swimwear rolled up, folded or stored for extended periods.

With proper rinsing and care, you can help preserve the original appearance and finish of your Anjuum hardware for longer.

REMOVABLE HARDWARE

Some Anjuum designs, including selected Snake, Ohm and Tiger styles, feature removable front connectors. Where applicable, these can be removed before washing for additional care and then easily repositioned once your swimwear is completely dry.

They can also be interchanged between compatible Anjuum pieces, allowing you to create your own combinations. ✨

SWIMWEAR CARE TIPS

Rinse Immediately After Wearing: Rinse thoroughly with fresh cold water after exposure to salt water, chlorine, sunscreen and body oils. Prompt rinsing helps protect both the fabric and hardware.

Gentle Hand Wash:

  • Soak: Soak your swimwear in cold water for approximately 20 minutes to help loosen salt, chlorine and other residue.
  • Use Mild Detergent: Add a small amount of gentle detergent or soap. Avoid bleach, stain removers and harsh cleaning products.
  • Wash with Care: Gently massage the fabric, taking extra care around metal hardware, straps and delicate details.
  • Rinse Well: Rinse thoroughly with fresh cold water until all detergent and residue have been removed.

Dry Flat in the Shade:

  • Lay Flat: Place your swimwear on a clean towel and allow it to air dry naturally in the shade.
  • Avoid Wringing or Hanging: Wringing can stretch the fabric, while hanging wet swimwear may place unnecessary stress on straps and delicate areas.
  • Avoid Direct Sunlight While Drying: Extended direct sunlight may gradually affect colours and materials.
  • Avoid Machines: Do not machine wash or tumble dry. Heat and agitation can damage fabrics, elasticity and decorative finishes.
  • Store Properly: Once completely dry, store your swimwear in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

Following these simple steps will help preserve the shape, colour, fabric and distinctive details of your Anjuum swimwear, so you can enjoy your pieces for seasons to come.
